Hearing on Building Resilient, Sustainable and Competitive Supply Chains

On 2 March 2023, the Committee on International Trade will hold a hearing on Building Resilient, Sustainable and Competitive Supply Chains in Critical Raw Materials.
Ms Katia DA ROS, vice President for Environment, Sustainability and Culture of Confinindustria, Mr Chris HERON, Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Eurometaux, Mr Jan TYTGAT, Director for Government and EU affairs at Umicore, and Ms Ulrika HÅKANSSON, Business Development Manager & Head of Project Critical Minerals at LKAB will present an overview of the European industry perspective regarding the access to raw materials. A second panel with Mr Michael RECKORDT, raw materials policy expert at the NGO Powershift and Mr Gianclaudio TORLIZZI, founder and CEO of T-Commodity will then analyse the EU situation as regards this topic from a different perspective.
