Public Hearing on the impact of markets in crypto-assets on financial stability

The Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) held a hearing to assess whether the growing importance of markets in crypto-assets has the potential to affect financial stability, on 8 April 2025.
The hearing allowed Members of the European Parliament to gather from the invited experts additional information if the Union is equipped with a comprehensive policy and regulatory response to address possible risks of crypto-assets to financial stability.
