A delegation of 7 Members of the European Parliament, from the Committee on Development and the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, took part in the ministerial segment of the UN High Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development, 13-15 July 2022 in New York, USA.
The theme of this forum's edition was "Building back better from the coronavirus disease while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development".
MEPs had the opportunity to follow the official proceedings at the HLPF, including the adoption of the ministerial declaration, and met various representatives of governments, international organisations and civil society as well as other parliamentarians from around the world.
