The Policy Department B of the European Parliament organises, upon the request of the Committee for Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, a Workshop on the new EU LGBTIQ+ Equality Strategy 2026-2030 proposed by the Commission, which follows up its previous LGBTIQ Equality Strategy covering the years 2020 – 2025.

This public hearing will explore the current landscape and key challenges for European consumers in the digital environment. High-level representatives from the European Commission, data protection authorities, academia, and industry stakeholders will discuss crucial topics such as algorithm transparency, content moderation, and consumer protection.

The Subcommittee on Human Rights (DROI) and the Committee on Development (DEVE) will hold a joint public hearing on “The Human Rights Situation in Sudan and the EU Strategy” on Tuesday, 11 November, from 11:00 to 12:30. The hearing will bring together Sakharov Prize Laureate Salih Mahmoud Osman and experts from the United Nations and civil society.

On 11 November 2025, the ITRE Committee will hold a Public Hearing on "Carbon Capture and Storage and Carbon Capture and Utilisation". Members will have the opportunity to discuss current challenges on these important technologies with a panel of five experts.

The Committee on Regional Development will hold a public hearing on Shaping the Future of Cohesion Policy: Insights on the MFF Post-2027 on Tuesday 11 November 2025.

On Tuesday, 11 November 2025, the Committee on Fisheries will hold a public hearing entitled "Securing Grounds for Sustainable Fishing and Aquaculture in the Competition for Marine Space".
