The objective of this hearing is to elaborate on the costs and benefits of digitalisation of the highest level of administrative procedures for citizens and businesses with the aim of strengthening the internal market. During the hearing experts, representing business organisations, academia, EU Member States and the Commission will provide an overview of the evolution of eGovernment in Europe. The hearing will provide further input on the development of new and time-efficient digital services, as well as how to share best practices between Member States.
