Health-related quality of life in people living with HIV
The evolution of HIV from a fatal to a long-term condition poses challenges for people living with HIV and for health and social care systems across the EU. This paper aims to help Members of the European Parliament and other interested stakeholders to obtain a better picture of the current situation in relation to HIV among people living with HIV in the EU, HIV-related stigma and issues which impact on health-related quality of life for people living with HIV.

To strengthen this oversight, Parliament has revived the practice of holding 'question time' with the European Commission and the High Representative during plenary sessions. The outbreak of COVID-19 has had a marked impact on workplaces and reshaped working conditions in the EU. The study explores the impact of COVID-19 on the occupational safety and health of European workers. It presents a review of the measures adopted by 10 selected Member States and an evaluation of the preparedness of the European OSH legal framework for pandemic crises. Based on these findings, the study presents conclusions and policy recommendations.
