La recherche, qui s’est concentrée sur un échantillon de 14 États membres de l’UE (BG, CZ, ES, FR, FI, DE, GR, HU, IT, LU, LV, MT, SE et SK), a comporté une combinaison de recherches documentaires, d’entretiens et de modélisation quantitative. L’étude a examiné l’incidence de la criminalité organisée sur les dépenses de l’UE (par exemple, les fonds de cohésion) ainsi que sur les recettes de l’UE (par exemple, les ressources propres TVA).
