EU lawmakers will hold a joint public hearing on how organised crime exploits weaknesses in the EU’s Single Market to commit VAT and customs fraud. The hearing brings together the European Parliament’s Committee on Budgetary Control, Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection, and Subcommittee on Tax Matters.
