Digitalisation of traditional practices will inevitably produce large quantities of data. This issue is managing the data. Farmers will need the capacity to manage the data, or employ those with the skill to do so. The data is only useful if there are people who can interpret it into something useful

The data provided from the PA can be monitored and used to calculate the CAP benefits owed to different farmers, however there would need to be sufficient security is place to ensure that this is accurate.

Data ownership is also an issue. It needs to be clear who owns the data that is collected from the PA technology and how it can be used.

There is a big differentiation between standards and types of data. It may be useful to develop a common international standard for creating and sharing data to avoid centralised data and improve data hygiene.
