Fundusz Spójności
Fundusz Spójności, utworzony w 1994 r. na mocy rozporządzenia Rady (WE) 1164/94, wspiera finansowo realizację projektów z zakresu ochrony środowiska oraz projektów sieci transeuropejskich. Od 2007 r. z funduszu mogą także być wspierane projekty związane ze zrównoważonym rozwojem, np. w dziedzinie efektywności energetycznej czy odnawialnych źródeł energii.
Finansowanie sieci transeuropejskich
Sieci transeuropejskie (TEN) są częściowo finansowane przez Unię Europejską, a częściowo przez państwa członkowskie. Pomoc finansowa UE służy za katalizator, zaś zapewnienie większej części środków leży w gestii państw członkowskich.
