The 3rd annual Julian Priestley Memorial Lecture is taking place on 7 May 2021 from 6pm - 7.30pm, and due to COVID-19, will now take place online.

With this LUX Audience Award, Parliament teams up with the European Film Academy to reach a wider audience. Through its film prize, Parliament has been providing tangible support for the distribution of European films since 2007 by providing subtitles in 24 EU languages for the films in the final competition. The LUX prize has garnered a reputation by selecting European co-productions that engage with topical political and social issues and encourage debate about our values.

The 12 Star Gallery at Europe House shows work which celebrates the creativity and cultural diversity that is the hallmark of the European Union. Exhibitions are organised mostly by the embassies and cultural institutes (link is external) of the EU countries. 

This exhibition of photographs by a young, German woman allows us a glimpse of that wonderful coming together of European youth and lets us imagine a return to happier and healthier communal living.

To celebrate Portugal’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2021, the Embassy of Portugal in London is pleased to announce an OPEN CALL for Portuguese artists living in the UK to have their work featured in the exhibition Paula Rego and her Contemporaries, in collaboration with the 12 Star Gallery. The exhibition is curated by Mara Alves and is supported by Camões I.P.
