European Parliament-Pan-African Parliament Joint Declaration of 9 December 2022

The Inter Parliamentary Meeting (IPM) between the European Parliament (EP) and the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) took place on 8 and 9 of December 2022, in Brussels (and remotely). A Joint-declaration was adopted at the end of the meeting.

On 10 February 2022, MEPs from the Committees on Development, Foreign Affairs, the Subcommittees on Human Rights and Security and Defence, members of the Delegations for relations with South Africa and to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly, and the Delegation for relations with the Pan-African Parliament (DPAP) hosted a high-level pre-summit meeting in advance of the European Union-African Union Summit (in Brussels on 17-18 February).
