The committee will hold an exchange with Mr Pierre Larrouturou, the general rapporteur of the Committee on Budgets for the 2021 EU budget, in order to discuss the main challenges of the budgetary procedure for the year 2020, as the first year of the new Multiannual Financial Framework. This will be followed by a debate by the committee on its own input for the guidelines for the budget with the rapporteur Antonio Tajani (IT, EPP).

The committee will discuss and adopt guidelines for requests from a group of citizens. These guidelines were elaborated by the committee's Working Group on the Rules of Procedure and aim to deal with requests concerning request from citizens to verify a compliance of a European party or foundation with the EU’s values in accordance with Article 10(3) of the Regulation 1141/2014.

The Chair, Antonio Tajani will present his draft opinion on the Situation of Fundamental Rights in the European Union - Annual Report for the years 2018-2019, whose adoption is scheduled for the next committee meeting.

The committee will exchange views with Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič.
