LIBE Committee with the support of the Directorate for relations with National Parliaments organises on Tuesday 1 December an Inter-parliamentary Committee meeting (ICM) on "The Evaluation of Eurojust Activities" which will be dedicated to a first assessment of Eurojust activities by the European Parliament and national parliaments in accordance with Article 85 TFEU and Regulation 2018/1772.
LIBE and FEMM Committees are holding a joint hearing “Combating Gender based Violence: Cyber Violence” on 30 November 2020 in order to obtain an important input from relevant experts for the joint LIBE-FEMM legislative initiative draft report, which will focus on combating cyber violence as an expression of gender based violence, with specific attention to violence against women.
In the LIBE meeting of 16 November Members will hold a security dialogue with Ylva Johansson, Commissioner for Home Affairs and with participation of the German Presidency on Police information exchange and in particular the future developments regarding Prüm and the API Council Directive. The Commissioner will also touch upon the recent terrorist attacks and the ways to combat terrorism.

On 29 October 2020, a hearing on Union Citizenship was jointly organised by the European Parliament (JURI, LIBE, AFCO and PETI Committees) and the European Commission. The hearing included intervention Mr. Didier Reynders, Commissioner for Justice and the participation of Ms. Emily O’Reilly, the European Ombudsman, as well as representatives from various NGOs.
