On 9 December 2024, the Committee on Budgetary Control held a hearing with Piotr Serafin, Commissioner responsible for Budget, Anti-Fraud and Public Administration, in the presence of ECA reporting Members Leftéris Christofórou and Katarína Kaszasová.

On 9 December 2024, to mark the Gender Equality Week, the Committee on Budgetary Control exchanged views with Commission representatives on Gender mainstreaming in the EU budget.

On 9 December 2024, the Committee on Budgetary Control considered a draft opinion for the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Budgets on Establishing the Reform and Growth Facility for the Republic of Moldova.

On 5 December 2024, the Committee on Budgetary Control held a hearing with Kaja Kallas, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / Vice President of the Commission, in the context of the discharge to the European External Action Service (EEAS), in the presence of ECA reporting Member for EU administrative expenditure Jan Gregor.

On 5 December 2024 the Committee on Budgetary Control held an exchange of views with the Committees on Budget and on Anti-Corruption Policy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Ukrainian Parliament).

On 5 December 2024 the ECA Special report 22/2024: "Double funding from the EU budget Control systems lack essential elements to mitigate the increased risk resulting from the RRF model of financing not linked to costs" was presented to Members of the Committee of Budgetary Control (CONT) and Committee on Budgets (BUDG) by reporting ECA Member Annemie Turtelboom.

On 4 December 2024 Jorg Kristijan Petrovič, Member of the European Court of Auditors, presented the ECA Special report 05/2024: "EU Transparency Register – provides useful but limited information on lobbying activities" to the Committee of Budgetary Control.

On 4 December 2024, in the framework of the 2023 discharge procedure, the Committee on Budgetary Control held a hearing with representatives of the F4E joint undertaking and the EuroHPC joint undertaking, in the presence of the ECA Reporting Member Ildikó Gáll-Pelcz.
