Radionice organiziraju resorni odjeli, a zastupnicima omogućuju postavljanje pitanja i razmjenu mišljenja sa stručnjacima o temama koje se odnose na rad Parlamenta ili o aktualnim temama. Nisu nužno javne, ali mogu se održavati za vrijeme sjednice odbora.
On 19 March, a workshop on "Confronting debt, climate change and poverty: Global Financial architecture reform and fiscal space of developing countries" will take place from 15.30-17.00. The event will be chaired by Tomas Tobé, Chair of the Committee on Development.
The Workshop is organised by the Policy Department for Citizens' Rights and Constitutional Affairs for the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.
On Tuesday, 19 March 2024, the Committee on Development will hold a workshop on 'Opportunities and challenges of the green transition for pastoralism and indigenous people in Africa.' With the input of experts, the workshop will explore best practices to ensure that green transition projects are implemented to the benefit to pastoralist and indigenous people in Africa.
The overall objective of the Workshop is to provide expert input on the suitability of the existing post and parcel legislation, considering in particular the trends observed in the past years, such as the boom of e-commerce and online sales, further exacerbated by COVID-19. It will consider whether current rules need to evolve, taking into account also working conditions and sustainability issues.

The workshop will explore effectiveness of the Human Rights clauses in EU's international agreements. Firstly, experts will look at how the implementation could be improved gathering best practices from different EU policy fields and third country examples. Secondly, lifecycle of Human Rights clauses will be analysed through case studies on Ethiopia, Tunisia and Vietnam, in presence of academic and civil society experts.

With a particular focus on the EU-Russia sanctions, this workshop will look at the issue from various perspectives, including trade sanctions, criminalising sanctions circumvention, asset freezing and tracing final beneficiaries of EU funds.
