Atelierele sunt organizate de departamentele tematice cu scopul de a le permite deputaților în Parlamentul European să pună întrebări și să facă schimb de opinii cu experți pe teme legate de activitatea parlamentară sau de subiecte arzătoare. Acestea nu au loc neapărat în public, însă pot avea loc în cursul reuniunii unei comisii.

The workshop will cover a series of important questions regarding the financial instruments that are needed to reach the environmental goals that are set out in the Paris Agreement to which the EU and all its Member States are signatories. More specifically, the question is raised how much has been committed so far financially and how much of this is the EU’s contribution.

This Workshop, organised by the Policy Department for Citizens’ Rights and Constitutional Affairs for the Committee on Petitions, focuses on transparency with regard to pricing and reimbursement of medicinal products. There still are problems regarding transparency of research and development costs of originator companies, and information on the actual prices paid for medicines.
