Von besonderem Interesse

At the meetings of 12 and 13 May 2025, JURI Members held an exchange views with the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine/ Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Olha Stefanishyna. Furthermore, JURI Members heard a EUIPO's presentation on the study on the Development of Generative Artificial Intelligence from a Copyright Perspective.

At the meeting of 23 April 2025, JURI Members held an exchange views with the Executive Vice-President for Prosperity and Industrial Strategy Stéphane Séjourné. A further exchange of views on the amending Directives 2006/43/EC, 2013/34/EU, (EU) 2022/2464 and (EU) 2024/1760 as regards certain corporate sustainability reporting and due diligence requirements (2025/0045(COD)) took place.

On 10 April 2025, the JURI Committee met in Luxembourg in order to hold the Second Annual Dialogue between the European Parliament and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

At the meeting of 9 April 2025, the JURI Committee held an exchange of views with the Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar concerning the priorities of the Polish Presidency and with Executive Vice-President for Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy Henna Virkkunen. JURI Members also considered the draft report on Harmonising certain aspects of insolvency law (2022/0408(COD).

The European Parliament Coordinator on children’s rights
Guided by the "best interest of the child" principle, the Coordinator works to ensure the promotion and protection of children's rights in all EU policies and legislation. She seeks to assist citizens experiencing parental child abduction and other cross-border family disputes. She advocates closer collaboration with the judicial and administrative bodies and seeks to promote mediation in cross-border family matters.
