On 6 November, the SEDE Committee, jointly with the FEMM Committee, held a public hearing on the 25th Anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on "Women, Peace and Security" as part of the EP Gender Equality week. This hearing was an opportunity to take stock on the progress and challenges in the implementation of the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
On Tuesday, 4 November 2025, Vice-President in charge of Gender Equality Week Antonella Sberna organised, in cooperation with the FEMM Chair Lina Gálvez, a high-level event on the occasion of the Gender Equality Week 2025.
On Wednesday, 5 November 2025, the FEMM Committee held a hearing on "Women's Leadership in Politics".
The sixth edition of the European Gender Equality Week took place from 3 to 9 November 2025.
On Wednesday, 5 November 2025 from 15.00 to 16.00, the Special Committee on the European Democracy Shield (EUDS) and the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM) held a joint exchange of views titled "Radical movements advocating against gender equality such as manosphere, causing interference with European democratic processes".
On 6 November 2025, the study ''Gender inequalities in medical research, drug development and access to care'' was presented to FEMM Members. The study examines how the gender health gap - with particular emphasis on gender inequalities in medical research, drug development and access to care - affects women’s health and well-being. The study identifies fragmented policy responses and provides concrete policy recommendations relevant to EU decision-making.
On Wednesday, 5 November, the FEMM Committee voted its draft opinion on Human Rights and Democracy in the world and the European Union’s policy on the matter – annual report 2025 (2025/2166(INI)).

On Thursday, 6 November 2025, the FEMM Committee jointly with the LIBE Committee invited the Commission to present its first report of the baseline evaluation procedure of the implementation of the Istanbul Convention.
