O comisie poate decide să organizeze misiuni într-un stat membru, într-o țară din afara UE sau la conferințe internaționale. Misiunile sunt organizate în contextul exercitării competențelor conferite comisiei și sunt compuse dintr-un număr limitat de membri ai comisiei. De asemenea, comisiile pot trimite o delegație compusă din trei membri, pentru o perioadă de maximum trei zile, la agențiile care intră în domeniul lor principal de competență. The Committee on Budgets was travelling to Washington, United States, from 15 to 18 May 2023.

A delegation of 6 Members traveled to Senegal from 15 to 17 May 2023. The delegation was led by MEP Catherine Chabaud (Renew, FR). The purpose was to review the EU development portfolio in the country, especially in the context of the new programming period.

To investigate the issues raised by several petitioners on the management and protection of the brown bear population and the illegal logging in Romania, a group of eight MEPs visited Bucharest, Sfântu Gheorghe and Suceava in Romania, between 15 and 18 of May.

From 14 to 20 May, MEPs will travel to Brazil and Uruguay to discuss trade and investment relations as well as regional integration.

Kenya is a key economic and political partner for the European Union and plays an important role as a peace broker in the region and is a leader when it comes to producing regional energy. It also faces a number of challenges with one million children under five malnourished. In this context, a delegation of six members from the Committee on Development, chaired by MEP Pierrette Herzberger-Fofana, traveled there from 3 to 5 April 2023.

A delegation of AFET Members travelled to Banjul in The Gambia and to Dakar in Senegal from 3 to 7 April. The main goal of the mission was to contribute to further strengthening the partnerships with these countries. Members met with government and parliament officials as well as with representative of civil society to discuss global and regional security issues.

A delegation of seven Members of the Committee on International Trade (INTA) and the Chair of the Delegation for relations with South Africa travelled to Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town between 3 and 7 April 2023.

On 16 March 2023, a delegation of Members from the Committee of Foreign Affairs (AFET) and on Development (DEVE) will visit the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. Members will hold discussions on EIB external action, especially activities of the ‘EIB Global’ branch which was set up in January 2022. This new branch promotes investments outside the EU, supporting EU partnerships around the world, in particular in climate change, innovation and development.

The Committee on Budgets traveled to Chişinău, Moldova from 21 to 23 February 2023. The main objective of this mission was to assess Moldova's most pressing needs in terms of EU financial support, also in view of the country's candidate status.

The six-member delegation led by INTA committee chair Bernd Lange (S&D, DE) traveled to Chisinau. The aim of the delegation was to meet with Ministers, parliamentarians as well as civil society and private sector representatives.

A delegation of five members from the Committee on Development, chaired by Tomas Tobé, traveled to Washington DC from 21 to 23 February 2023.

Members from the Special Committee on Foreign Interference travelled to Kyiv on 20-21 February to discuss with their Ukrainian counterparts strategies and practices to counter Russian interference. The mission enabled Members to get a better understanding on how the EU institutions could be better equipped to provide the necessary assistance to Ukraine in fighting Russian information manipulation and interference.
