Parlamentarische Anfragen

Die Parlamentarischen Anfragen sind Fragen, die von Mitgliedern des Europäischen Parlaments an andere Organe und Einrichtungen der Europäischen Union gerichtet werden. Sie stellen ein unmittelbares Instrument der parlamentarischen Kontrolle in Bezug auf die anderen Organe und Einrichtungen der EU dar.
Es ist zwischen drei Kategorien von parlamentarischen Anfragen zu unterscheiden:

  • Die mündlichen Anfragen, die im Rahmen der Parlamentssitzungen gestellt und auf die Tagesordnung gesetzt werden und denen eine Entschließung folgen kann ( Artikel 136)
  • Die Anfragen der „Fragestunde“, die in der Fragestunde zu einem während der Plenartagungen dafür vorgesehenen Zeitpunkt gestellt werden ( Artikel 137)
  • Die Anfragen zur schriftlichen Beantwortung, die schriftlich beantwortet werden ( Artikel 138)
